Transtion Practices for Students with ASD : This module will inform learners of best practices in transition across the age span of individuals with ASD (autism spectrum disorders) including early childhood, school-age transitions, and adult transition. |

Behavior Intervention Practices for Students with ASD and Related Disabilities: This module will inform learners of best practices in behavior intervention across the age span of individuals with ASD. Behavior interventions that affect group management as well as interventions and assessments that can be applied to more severe behavior occurrences will be presented.

Inclusive Practices for Students with ASD and Related Disabilities: This module will inform learners of best practices in inclusive educational settings for students from K-12 grade. Environmental considerations, co-teaching practices, and general adaptations will be presented. |

Social Skills Instruction for Students with ASD and Related Disabilities: This module will inform learners of the most current practices in social skills instruction for students with ASD and related disabilities. Specific assessments and instructional techniques for social skills instruction will be presented. |

Environment Supports for Students with ASD and Related Disabilities: This Module will inform learners of best practice in designing educational environments across the age span for individuals with ASD and related disabilities. Topics discussed include, ecological assessment, best practice strategies for designing school and classroom environments, visual supports, and Universal Design for Learning. |

Assistive Technology: This Module will inform learners of best practice in utilizing Assistive Technology across the age span for individuals with ASD and related disabilities. Topics discussed include, an overview and definition of Assistive Technology, Universal Design for Learning, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, assessment for Assistive Technology, and examples of Assistive Technology in practice. |

Communication: This module will introduce learners to the fundamentals of communication development. The characteristics of communication development for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related disabilities will be discussed along with evidence-based strategies for communication assessment, planning, and instruction. Examples of these tools in practice will be provided along with web and print resources. |

Collaboration & Teaming: In this module, you will learn about successful collaboration with school teams. Basics of team functioning, co-teaching, and models of collaboration are discussed. You will also learn how to assess different collaborative relationships. |
